Fatqueencooks is definitely our tingkat recommendation to our family and friends when they need tingkat recommendations. We simply love the variety of food and that Wednesdays have Western option to have a “break” from Chinese food.

Each month has a specific food theme, injecting some “fun and creativity” to conventional tingkat food (which is usually the same dishes repeating itself month on month).

My family and I look forward to the tingkat that we get and it always don’t disappoint. It’s cooked with less salt, oil and most importantly, the love that is put into the cooking! Though it may seem pricey for the tingkat plans, but the portion and variation are definitely worth spending on!

Best of all, during festivities, the catering menu is also great to get for gathering to have family and friends to have a taste of the food by fatqueencooks.

It was about the same year this little girl was born… when I lost my one and only and decided to do a total career switch!!! From the desk in the digital design and marketing world to the hot and sweaty kitchen! I must be out of my mind!

I finally got pregnant (by sudden discovery, lol… end of 2019 and had to lose it in March 2020 to “Omphalocele”, 1 in 5000. It was a very heartbreaking moment for me as I have always loved children and wanted my own. It was a little girl… Then I went into depression and decided to take switch career. That was in 2020-2021, thereabout.

When this customer (Daddy) contacted me and started on their tingkat, it was just like any regular customer but as days gone by, understanding who is eating and all, I get to be “closer” with this young family of 3… They are super friendly and always smiley!!! And have been very supportive, even their families supported me during festive and the cafe too! I have watched their shy little girl, Violet, grown to a not-so-shy girl, almost 3 years… Though they do not eat with us everyday (only 2 days a week now), its still almost 28% of Violet’s life. Violet’s has the smiley and pretty genes from Daddy and Mummy and those doeful eyes… omg!!! If I had given birth, she would have been just a year older than Violet.

So yes, I am always thankful for their support and am an avid follower of their Instagram!!! Its such a wonder to see Violet growing day by day… Thank you Daddy and Mummy for sharing all the cute moments of Violet learning to ride a bike, her long hair, as Elsa and many more… always something new! May she grow up healthy and well!!!
