***LATEST UPDATE: As of end 2019 – Sims Place Prawn Noodles 沈氏坊虾面 is now called Bendemeer Prawn Noodles***
This is another of my favourite food centre – yummy food includes laksa, fried bee hoon, indonesia nasi padang, yam cake, chee cheong fun, siew mai, lor mai gai, beef noodles, chicken rice, fried fish ball, kway chap (auntie home style old school flavour but has since closed) and of course, prawn noodles and the best soya bean drink + tau huay stall!!!
So as you all know I really love prawn noodles…

The yummilicious part about “Sims Place Prawn Noodles 沈氏坊虾面”, minus the fact that the stall and I share the same surname (fyi: stall owner surname is not Sim btw) is that the broth is really flavourful and definitely old school traditional taste. Sometimes I wish they can be a little bit more generous with the broth but I understand cos the effort that goes into making that broth is really alot of work.
Prawns are ok… Fresh and flavourful. I usually have bee hoon soup $4 cos I love their soup. I love to add on the pig skin 50¢ and sweet intestines 50¢ and then more tau geh for free!!! But the add-ons do sell out fast especially the pig skin. My man has tried the dry ones – chilli not bad. I order the big prawns bee hoon soup once for $7 – really fresh and succulent. But don’t expect them to be super big.
Owners are a middle aged couple – very friendly. If queue is not long, uncle will occassionally cracks up a joke or 2. Their son helps out during school holidays.
