I chanced upon Santa Fe Tex-Mex Grill 5 years ago when they were still on board the good old A&W “Riverboat” parked at Marina South Pier. The boat has since left our shores and Santa Fe is now located at Purvis Street. I have been a big fan… And all cos of their authentic Tex-Mex cuisine especially their beef…!!!
Santa Fe Tex-Mex Grill first opened its doors to a hungry Singaporean public in July 1999 with its first outlet at Boat Quay. Its been 21 years since. So not too long ago, they celebrated their 21st birthday with an eat-all-you-can buffet while I celebrated my 40th and my man’s 50th with their buffet!

Their FAJITAS are to die for!!! Sizzling beef (with choice of ribeye, wagyu, angus..) prawns, chicken or iberico pork with caramelised onions, salsa, avocado cream, sour cream, cheese to wrap it all up… So shiok!!! They arrived at your table sizzling hot, you squeeze a bit of lemon and ooohhhh….. Beef are always cooked to the right done-ness as per your request and so so so juicy!!! Me love their beef and with the price tag for sure!!! I am also a fan of their prawn, iberico pork and portobello mushroom fajitas!!!

Its only sold for $1 a pc. And they can do live station at ur event too. If i ever going to have an event, this prawn vadai live station is going to be there! I have always been a prawn vadai/cake/cracker fan, this is da bomb! MUST TRY!
I have bought to friends’ party and ate it almost every time i m back at the office (with the covid situation now) and i do miss/crave it most times. I don’t think its just me. Lol
They do sell other types of vadai and seems like a lot of orders for their briyani but I have yet to try any of the rest for only 1 reason…

Other tex-mex favourites like Quesadillas, Chimichangas, Buffalo Wings, Taco-Spiced Calamari are also must eat!!! Especially love their Turkey Quesadillas and Taco-Spiced Calamari. What I love about the servings are that they are just so good and fun to be shared.
Another highlight of the restaurant are the beer on tap or the available choices of fine wine and alcohol. The boss, himself, is a certified whisky ambassador and he drinks wine/beer instead of water. So you can definitely get some good recommendations. I, on the other hand, am a sucker for their MILKSHAKES, yes you heard me right… MILKSHAKES!!! Love… love… love… Lol…
In this current COVID situation, they do serve dine-in with the usual ala-carte or you can simply go for their buffet which is available daily (except Monday when they are close) but with safe distancing, seats are very limited. Be sure to reserve your seats for dine-in. I have reserved mine for next week again!
Or you can simply order online and have authentic Tex-Mex cuisine in your own home. I ordered their Beef Fajitas and Vanilla Milkshake a couple of times during lockdown and my Milkshake arrived ice cold!!!! Shiok shiok shiok! Thumbs up for service.
