I can have this all day, any day!!! Except the fact that I always “sadden” myself by forgetting that Uncle only sells them in the morning. I will choose this over $20 Gram Cafe & Pancakes Singapore pancakes any time for sure! Lol
I am sure many of us have tried this simple-ingredient-made-fabulous “Min Jiang Kueh” at alot of different places. Likewise… But this stall at Sengkang got me sold…
1) The kueh is almost made on order… I hardly see the kueh on display. Everytime a new batch is done, its gone! Usually I have to wait about 10mins for the one still cooking on the pan. And that means its fresh!!! Really fluffy and qq when freshly done! Super score point.
2) Very generous with the peanuts. Can still bite the crunch of the peanuts. Don’t like it when the peanuts are too powdery. Not overtly sweet…
3) Uncle knows his customers well, so he usually have big crispy edges!!! Me 
… And cos its so popular, you really have to be at the top of the queue in order to get that! And lucky for me that day, I was number #1 in queue for that new kueh!!! That said, most days am juz happy with the usual middle portions. Lol

Lol4) They do have a variation alike to the curry puff shape where they have other fillings like cheese, chocolate, coconut, peanuts, etc. I don’t mind those but somehow the traditional ones just taste better maybe cos of the way its made even though they uses the same batter mix!
5) Uncle and his wife or daughter are super friendly. So plus point for a friendly neighbourhood stall.
Ever since moving to Sengkang for the past 10 months, this is a weekly dose for me. And at only $1 a pc, why not?!
