***Latest update from the business owner – they are now only left with 1 outlet which is the one i usually go to at Blk 122 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3***
I was staying in Ang Mo Kio, just opposite 春茗包点 Choon Ming Bao Dian Pte Ltd Blk 122 outlet. Being part Cantonese, Dim Sum breakfasts on Sundays are such lovely events

especially if the dim sum are yummy!!!
When I was enjoying and buying their pork buns and dim sum in quantity (cos I usually buy the pork buns in 8 or 10 to my friend’s cafe or to mahjong sessions), I did not even realise there was a bigger cause behind this Dim Sum stall. I only knew their pork buns are yummy!!!
春茗包点 is an enterprise that supports single mothers. I only realise that when I saw them in a video (can’t remember if its local tv or somewhere). You can find out more at https://m.facebook.com/…/a.5712731729…/1355190837860514/
Now back to the baos and dim sum which are handmade… I am a fan of their 猪肉包 (pork bun) – generous flavourful pork filling with ¼ egg and I like that the bao doesn’t stick to your teeth. Their dim sum are not too bad too. Love their 虾饺 (prawn dumpling) – nice skin texture and prawns filling. I also like their 排骨 (pork ribs) and 糯米鸡 (lor mai gai).
Do not expect a huge variety but definitely enough to fill your stomach. They have the basics – 虾饺, 烧卖, 排骨, 凤爪, 腐皮卷 and a couple of others. Their 猪肉包 also come in mini size and they do have other variety of buns such as char siew, lotus paste, custard, etc. As for the pricing

cos I usually buy a good mix and variety and buns in quantity… Say 1 虾饺, 1排骨, 4大肉包 will cost me around $12… Approx $2 per item.
Do pop by their outlets at Ang Mo Kio if you are around the hood…
