For those who know East Coast will know the many many “Jalan Tua Kong” noodles… Aiyo so many until confusing. While I was staying at Marine Parade – there is at least 4 around the hood. But regardless so long its nice, I eat!

This one, however, is not a “Jalan Tua Kong” series, at 727 East Coast Road (3838 Kopitiam), however captures my heart. Used to have it at least 3-4x a week. These days am only there once a while since I moved away. Was there last weekend and it sure is my fav “Bak Chor Mee Soup”. Personally, I love this better than Bedok 85, even my non-food critic bf say its good.

The soup is light but very very flavourful with lots of minced meat and taugeh. I always finish up all the soup. Love the fish dumplings too. However am not a fan of their fishballs. Their lady boss has a good memory when I was a regular there, she sees me only she will cook up my usual – bee tai mak soup without fishballs. Their dry version, however, nothing to scream about. Recommend you to try the soup version. From $3.50 a bowl…
