Braised for at least 2 hours in our specially concocted braising stock with 12 festive ingredients.

Delivered in a golden reheatable aluminium container. May reheat directly on gas stove, oven or induction cooker. Do not microwave.

“Cold” Option (to eat another day)
If you would like to have the pencai for another day, you may opt for the “cold” option. Delivered cold with sauce seperated. Good to keep for approx. 3 days in chiller and up to 1 month in freezer. Bring to room temperature / thaw before reheating. Simply pour the sauce onto the pen cai, cover with aluminium foil or a pot cover and reheat on small fire till hot. Do not on big fire as it may burn the pen cai unless you are watching it.
