Prawn noodles anytime for me… Me and prawns has this “上辈子的恩怨”. Lol. I saw a queue at a very corner stall, if you did not even walk past that corner, you won’t know there is a stall there. I saw what the lady boss served up… The Hokkien mee and Char Kway Teow looks good. Ok queue not long. So I joined the queue and ordered Hokkien Mee.

Wah, quite surprising… I like the way its done wet… Really wet. I don’t like the drier version. Usually i will always ask the stalls to make it wetter for me. This got a good amt of pork, sotong and crispy lard and the wok-hey is “gao-gao”! Good amount of mee vs bee hoon and the chilli is fresh, spicy and tangy goes very well with the hokkien mee. Not the usual off the shelve sambal. I think they make their own chilli. Definitely nice and yummy for $4 a plate and the soup base use to fry is very flavourful too!

Yet to try their Char Kway Teow… Will do so soon. 😬
