I think this stall need no introduction. Am a YTF fan cos I love fishballs, fish paste and anything stuffed. Lol… Their soup is light and fragrant, very clear and flavourful. Their YTF are traditional – to this day, they still handmade their own fish paste and stuff them into the usual YTF basics like bean curd (tau pok, tau kua, tau kee), lady finger, brinjal, etc. Do not expect fancy stuff here but the traditional basics done well.
I love their handmade fish paste… the slight saltiness and the al-dente “q-ness” at 1st bite and you know its packed with fish and not flour. And importantly you can taste the freshness in the YTF.
You can definitely expect a queue there any time of the day. The good stuff sell out very fast. Almost by after lunch, they are near empty. Queues on weekends can expect approx 20-30mins waiting time.
My man and I also tried the prawn noodles there but mmm sad to say, not worth the mention.
