Cheap & Good Traditional Teochew Kueh Chap @ Hougang
The stall is very simple and old school too – red/yellow signboard with a simple setup. The kueh is nice, thin and smooth, just the way i like it. The lor is light and soupy.

The star, needless to say is the thick gooey porridge – packed with sweet savoury “porky” goodness!!!
Its so chewy yet addictive!!! Love, love, love… On top of that, I can hardly resist the kway teow cos its the slimmer kind… Cooked to perfection… Very smooth and slurpy!
Occasionally, I am completely satisfied with a good 油条 and a good cuppa. Dipping the nice hot fluffy you tiao into the kopi is divine! A perfect breakfast…
The whole fish stew aka “烤鱼” is enough to feed 3pax, at least but I love it so my man and I always eat till too full! Quite a few flavours to choose from.
This is definitely 1 of the yummiest south indian food I heart! Then come the star… The curries and meat and seafood!!! The service staff will have a tray of portions of they day’s selection of curries, meat and seafood. You then pick what you want.
