I can eat this 3-4x a week, regardless for breakfast, lunch or dinner!!! Lol… I usually go for Set C which is priced at $4.80 and it has everything so I don’t have to give up any of the yummy items – their signature fried chicken wing, fried fish, banana leaf otah and of cos the usual accompanying crispy ikan billis, egg, cucumber and their own made chilli!!!
Their rice is done just right – not too wet, not too soft… Full of coconut fragrance yet not gelat!!! I been trying to master the art of nasi lemak rice and its really not easy… Very very nice rice. Their chilli is good – slight sweet savoury sambal, goes very well with the fluffy coconut rice. Just wish its abit spicier. Their signature chicken wing… Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, perfectly seasoned!!! You got to try it!!! Wah… Heavenly…
My Set C with everything is for $4.80 – very worth it. Sometimes I will add on a pc of fried sotong cutlet. Overall, definitely a treasure gem in a kopitiam at Marine Terrace and they have been there for very long… Family run – wife and mother will be cooking with the husband and kids help with the serving.
I think they are open daily and till slightly early evening… Most times they are sold out late afternoon. Cos I have always been there in the morning or afternoon. Will update again once I have asked about the opening hours.
